Miyoshi Clan Biography

The Miyoshi Clan was founded based on a shared interest in mastering the use of a specific element, though the element itself didn't matter to the founders. Miyoshi Michiyori, the first Elder of the Clan, set them up in the Land of Grass, where they honed their abilities and stayed relatively reserved for decades. Over time, the clan found ways to have true total mastery of their natural element, and over that time they found that they had purified their bloodline to an extent. While most People were born with several elemental affinities, learning to tap into them as they became more experienced, the Miyoshi clan found that they had restricted themselves to a single element; befitting those who dedicated themselves to mastering it before.

Miyoshi Michikuni, Grandson of Michiyori, was the first to be born a half blood of the clan: a crossed child between the Miyoshi and the Senju. As such, he was the first to discover the differences between a Pureblood Miyoshi and a Halfblood Miyoshi, such as that his abilities were more restricted, though he did still have mastery over his primary element of Wood. He was kicked out of the clan when he demonstrated his ability to use multiple elements from a young age, and was taken by his Senju Mother to Konoha for safety. This was the start of the clan's dissassociation.

Within six years, the Land of Grass had only a single Miyoshi left in it, all of them scattered to the corners of the world, honing their traits but isolating themselves. It wasn't until another four years after that that they started to enter the villages, being recognized for what they were capable of though they weren't praised, just recognized. The Miyoshi Clan members found that if they reproduced with another clan whom gave access to an Advanced Element, it's genes took over and replicated Miyoshi Michikuni's restrictions, but if they reproduced with a civilian, the Miyoshi Bloodline was kept pure, taking over. It was rare to find a truly pureblooded Miyoshi, but they were no different from a Miyoshi child with only one Miyoshi parent.

Name: Yōso no Saisei

Effects: Members of the Yōsoshi clan have only one elemental affinity, but are masters of that element. They can absorb the chakra of other people attempting to use their own element against them, allowing them to continue fighting longer than others if careful, even at Genin level. Yōsoshi Clan Members are also known for their increased Chakra reserves and creative ability to come up with unique elemental Ninjutsu of their element. Higher level members can also unlock their element's "true" form, its solo advanced variant. (Blaze for Fire, Liquid for Water, Metal for Earth, Sound for Wind, and Static for Lightning)

Finally, and uniquely, the Yōsoshi is especially unique in that they are able to cross breed with any other clan, though certain jutsu unique to the Yōsoshi may not be available. Half-breed Yōsoshi members have found that they can only absorb their Advanced Element, rather than its basic components as well. Users of this Kekkei Genkai must take Ninjutsu at Genin level, and may not take it a Second time.

Description: This jutsu requires no hand seals, but rather a simple chakra feed to the palms of the user's hand, as the hands are the conduit for the jutsu. The user of this jutsu can freely manipulate their primary element, restricted only be the range and their own creativity. This jutsu may seem fairly straight forward, but it's the simplistic nature of it which reveals the devastating capabilities of an experienced user.

Description: This jutsu requires a single handseal, based on the user's primary element: Tiger for Fire and Earth, Snake for Lightning, Bird for Wind, and Dog for Water. After the hand seal is made, and the user pours their chakra into the air immediately surrounding them, they generate a large amount of their primary element, ripe for manipulation. The amount generated is comparable to 100 gallons of water, though other elements may have it distributed differently.
