Tenken Chizumu, Jonin (Tier 3)
"Listen up! There is no fear under my lead. There is no mercy! You are here to become stronger, better, faster, tougher. You aren't here for a picnic and you sure as hell won't be having one while at the academy." Chizumu Tenken said as she paced around a group of academy students with her arms crossed behind her back, "You will learn the basics, the fundamental knowledge and skills that every shinobi must in order to perform his or her missions. You will excel at these as your life could very well depend on it or you will fail the academy all together."
She was about to go on, but she was stopped as another Jonin shunshin'd next to her and whispered something in her ear. Apparently she had been assigned the latest genin squad? Interesting.. She nodded for the Jonin to take her place lecturing the new wave of academy students which he did in stride as she walked off towards where she suspected her students would be, or at least where they would soon be.
Luckily she didn't need to contact them herself as they had been told to meet at the front gate of the village. Whether she had to wait or not she would arrive and figure out what she was dealing with with her suddenly new assignment.

Zanji's day had started a bit more peacefully then his previous one, no random bullies to kick into the dirt, his routine had been uninterrupted until a messenger appeared before him, letting the young jinchuuriki know that he had been finally assigned to a team, and that they were supposed to assemble at the front gate to the village, a few hours from when the messenger had located him. Taking his time Zanjiro made his way back to his home to gather the weapon aspects of his gear that he had left behind, hoping to find someone to practice his Taijutsu with that morning. Arriving at the gate about ten minutes before they were supposed to arrive he could spot a brown-haired kunoichi, obviously older than the Genin he had graduated with, who the young Jinchuuriki assumed was the woman assigned to be his sensei.
Approaching the woman he would stop a few feet away from her, waiting for the rest of their team to arrive, or his sensei to greet him first before saying anything. It wasn't that he was shy, but odds were that he was going to have to introduce himself once everyone had gathered anyways, so why do it multiple times.

It was a particularly exciting day for the young Uchiha today, as she had been assigned to a team. It had been a while since she had graduated the Academy and it had felt like it had taken forever! She would gather her things, most importantly her treasured scarf, which she had recently affixed the headband she had been given. Giving herself a quick look-over in her mirror, Makoto would quickly head out to the villages front gate. After all, she didn't want to keep her new team waiting!
A short jog later, she would come across what seemed to be a young woman as well as what she could only assume was one of her teammates. Though, it seemed like that teammate happened to be a jinchuriki, which was always a scary thing to be dealing with. She gave him something of a wide berth as she stood ready, wondering where the third member of their team might be as they all waited in silence... a little awkward to be sure, but no one had begun their introductions yet, so she didn't want to have to break the ice.

"oh good another has arrived." Chizumu commented as she watched the younger uchiha show up, after nodding and saying hello to the first arrival, one Yukihara Zanjiro, who was being just as reserved in speaking to her as the Uchiha seemed to be now.
"We're short one but from my report that is to be expected. This won't be like a normal meet and greet so pack your nerves cuz we're going on a mission just the three of us. I'll be acting as your third and your sensei for the duration of the mission and as long as need be for a replacement to your "suddenly unavailable" third team mate." She waited a moment to let the sudden mission pop up and start catch up to her new students. Usually a training session happened before a mission, but not with Chizumu, "you graduated the academy and were assigned to me. This means you already know the basics of how to be a shinobi, but do not panic for the mission is merely D rank as fit for your currently level of ability and as such we'll be hunting down a pack of wild but aggressive tigers who keep attacking travellers on the path to the town next to ours. The chief of that village requested any aid we could give and you are that aid."
She motioned for them to follow her and started heading in the direction of the mission, at a walk at first, but speeding up to a jog and then a run after a few minutes, though making sure she didn't outspeed both of her new students too much to keep them going the right direction. If she did outrun them too much she'd stop every now and then and let them catch up. She could be cold and hard but she wasn't stupid, they were still genin after all.
